The Mississippi Flyway is a bird migration route that generally follows the Mississippi River in the United States and the Mackenzie River in Canada. The main endpoints of the flyway include central Canada and the region surrounding the Gulf of Mexico. Typically birds use this route because no mountains or ridges of hills block the path over its entire extent. Good sources of water, food, and cover exist over its entire length. This flyway, as well as the Central Flyway flow over our hunting area creating some of the greatest populations of waterfowl. Combined with a prime natural habitat for birds, hunting them becomes more than fun. Early mornings in the field and evenings looking over wetlands and ponds, it's a bird hunters paradise.
